Introduction: 310S stainless steel plate is a high-temperature resistant austenitic stainless steel alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and superior strength at elevated temperatures. It contains high levels of chromium (around 25-28%) and nickel (around 19-22%), providing exceptional oxidation resistance in environments up to 2000°F (1093°C) . Its composition also includes low carbon content, enhancing its resistance to sensitization and promoting weldability .
Applications:
Heat Treatment Equipment: Widely used in heat treatment furnaces, radiant tubes, and other high-temperature applications due to its excellent resistance to thermal cycling and oxidation .
Chemical Processing: Utilized in chemical processing industries for equipment such as reactors, kilns, and combustion chambers where resistance to corrosive chemicals and elevated temperatures is crucial.
